The General Elections tomorrow - and I'll be casting my vote for the first time! Turned eligible a good four years back, but somehow didn't register for it, until last year ("A responsible citizen in one post - following Traffic rules and all to one who hadn't registered to vote until this day"...thinking this, right?)
Just before D-Day, we, the "first-timers" were busy updating ourselves on the current political scenario; as in who are contesting the elections for which political parties, etc! Just then, Fräulein R pops up this Question -
Q: It is time to elect a new leader, and only your vote counts. Here are the facts about the three candidates...
- Candidate (A) - Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He’s had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day (Umm, you can consider something "local" instead of the high-sounding martini :-P)
- Candidate (B) - He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon , was a drug addict in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening
- Candidate (C) - He is a decorated war hero. He’s a vegetarian, doesn’t smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.
Rohan, what intrigues me more than the profiles of our so called 'netas', is your un-forgetting mention of alcohol in all the profiles. Interesting, eh ?
